A Hibernation Pause: Why I’m Taking a Step Back

Fresh air exercise is my lifeline these days

Hello my fit biz friends. Life, like fitness, is about balance. Just as we guide our clients to find equilibrium in their routines, sometimes we, too, must step back, reflect, and recalibrate. Today, I want to share some personal news and explain why I’ve decided to pause my active social media engagement and temporarily stop taking on new clients.

The Power of Prioritization

In both fitness and business, prioritizing what matters most is key. Right now, personal matters require my full attention. I’ve had a lot of loss this last year that I still need to tend to, including the unexpected loss of my dad. Life has a way of reminding us that growth and healing don’t always happen in the studio or at the office; sometimes, they happen in the quiet moments.

For me, this isn’t a farewell—it’s a hibernation pause & reset. This is why I’m leaving this web home up and running. This is a chance for me to pause, reflect, and return stronger and more focused.

A Commitment to Always Learning

Fall leaves remind me that change is the only constant…

To those I’ve worked with in any way, shape, or form, thank you for entrusting me with your fitness business goals. Whether it was refining your pricing strategy, calculating client retention, or scaling your operations, each project has been a joy and a privilege; each phone call a gift. I consider all of my clients the best coworker friends a girl could ask for and find working with you feels more like playing with friends. I’ve always felt passionate about giving my best, and to do that I need to be at my best, which is why I’m giving myself some extra time and space to tend to life and listen to it’s many lessons so I can come back fully recharged.

Staying Connected

Though I’ll be less active on social media and my blog, I’m still here. I’ll continue sharing insights and updates occasionally, and my existing clients can count on the same level of support and dedication they’ve always received.

For those interested in working together in the future, I encourage you to stay connected. I will be checking my email weekly. I’ll be back soon with a renewed passion and even more tools to help you grow your fitness businesses.

Final Thoughts

Thank you for your understanding and support during this time. If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a lifelong fitaholic, it’s that rest is as essential as effort. I’m looking forward to seeing what this chapter of rest and renewal has to teach me, so I can come back ready to serve you better than ever.

Stay strong, stay balanced, and I’ll see you soon.
